The holiday’s are full of office Christmas parties, friendly gatherings, and New Year’s soiree’s. Whether your attending multiple events or just one, we all want to look amazing! For most of us, it’s not every weekend there is an opportunity get all dressed up! My first parties of the season are coming up this weekend. Friday night is my girls Christmas with sorority sisters and Saturday is the second annual Sassy Sindle Christmas party, hosted by yours truly and my hubby! Typically when all of the girls get together we look as cute as can be for what we know will turn into a photo session. We like to switch things up for Christmas and wear our pi’s, because who doesn’t love to be cozy?? I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite looks from this year to get you ready for Christmas morning!
This years these for the Sassy Sindle party is “Christmas Cocktail”. (last year it was tacky sweater) I can never order just one option so I’ve decided to share all of my party dress picks discovered while shopping for my cocktail outfit! This is one of my favorite times of year to stock up on dresses for formal occasions. If you know you have a year packed with events such as rehearsal dinners, weddings, etc. go ahead and pick up a couple! It can’t hurt to have “the perfect dress” hanging in your closet ready to go at a moments notice!
All three of my dresses are different in style, but appropriate for any formal function! I am having a major moment with sleeves right now so this dress totally spoke to me! Complete with satin trim on the v-neck, a full sleeve, and….pockets!!!! Pockets on a dress instantly rank it higher in my mind – even my wedding dress had them!
Onto the second look. I absolutely love the lines on this dress. To me it embodies how to do sexy, in a classy way. I’ve paired with my favorite holiday shoes, a nice glitter heel from Jimmy Choo! You could also pair with a burgundy pump or black ankle strap heel for another stunning look.
This little gold number caught my eye immediately when I entered the store! That is saying a lot for me, it’s very safe to say 99% of my formal dresses are black so this is stepping out! I love sequins as much as the next girl, but I was really drawn to the more understated sparkle of this dress. My sequins will be back out for New years!! Unfortunately this dress sold out before making it online, but I’ve found some beautiful look-a-likes. — stay tuned for my punch recipe!
